The Gala Awards Dinner is the highlight of the pump industry’s social calendar, celebrating the very best, as finalists and winners are awarded with certificates and trophies, in the charged atmosphere of the awards ceremony.

The 2024 Gala Dinner and Presentation Ceremony took place on Thursday, March 14, at its fantastic venue – the Hilton at St George’s Park in Burton upon Trent.
Situated on the edge of the National Forest, this impressive hotel is part of St. George’s Park – the training ground for all 28 English national football teams – and is recognised the World over as the Home of English Football.
​
Sporting excellence is synonymous with this venue, and in 2023 it will also became the location for heralding engineering excellence across the pump sector.

An allocation of bedrooms has been reserved at the Hilton at St. George's Park for the night of the Pump Industry Awards, at a promotional rate of £150.00 (inclusive of breakfast).

Our 2024 event was hosted by Martin Bayfield, one of the most recognisable faces in British rugby.
At 6'10" Martin Bayfield was one of the tallest players in rugby, a gift he used to full advantage as one of England's most potent forwards. Since retiring, his height has helped win him the part of Robbie Coltrane's body double as the giant Hagrid in the Harry Potter films.

On the field Martin enjoyed a successful international career, winning 31 England caps and two Grand Slams. He played in the World Cup in South Africa and was selected to represent the British Lions in New Zealand.
He is now an established member of the BBC and ITV commentary team, as well as host of Channel Five's NFL coverage, and presenter of BT Sport’s Premiership Rugby and European Rugby Union tournaments and The World's Strongest Man.
Appealing to all manner of audiences, he points to one or two telling differences between football and rugby.
