The 2017 Gala Dinner

Hosted by Anna Williamson
The 2017 awards ceremony was expertly conducted by the delightful Anna Williamson - popular TV presenter, radio show host and now acclaimed author.

In addition Anna is a keen charity supporter and is very proud of her ambassador roles for The Princes Trust and The Young Variety Club.  Speaking after the event, Anna said, “I thoroughly enjoyed the evening, and playing a small part in acknowledging the great work being done right across the pump industry.  I was particularly pleased to be asked to conduct the Charity Raffle on behalf of Wateraid, which I know will do great things with the £3000.00 raised.”

Entertainment with Siren
Following the huge success of its 75th Anniversary Dinner Dance in October, it was decided to introduce a musical element to the 2017 the awards dinner.   Guests were therefore treated to a stunning musical show, courtesy of the wonderfully entertaining string quartet, Siren.  An acoustic set accompanied the drinks reception, and then after dinner these classically trained musicians presented an impressive and thoroughly engaging electric performance.

“We are delighted that the Pump Industry Awards are so valued by our industry. We hope you'll join us for this unique opportunity to network, exchange ideas and celebrate with the industry's best and brightest.”
